A US Powerball player who matched all five of the main numbers, but not the Powerball in the July 2, 2014, drawing has claimed her prize at last.
The New Jersey Lottery announced the news on Sunday.
The prize for matching five main numbers in the US Powerball game is usually $1 million, but Lori Paldino invested an extra dollar and added the Power Play option to her ticket. The Power Play number was two on July 2, so Paladino was doubly lucky and bagged $ 2 million.
When asked about her plans for the money, Paldino said she intends to pay off her mortgage and purchases a "practical car" for her daughter.
