When retiree Duarte Almeida heard a CAD$ 13 million prize had not been claimed in Victoria, British Columbia, he never dreamed he may be the missing winner. He finally checked his ticket earlier this week and couldn't believe his luck when he discovered he'd won CAD$ 13,688,924 in the August 2, 2014, Canada Lotto 649 draw.
