Lotto Win is Twice as Nice for County Cork Man

An Irish Lottery player from County Cork visited the National Lottery Ireland's offices in Dublin on Monday to claim a €1 million lottery prize and got small bonus when he decided to check the rest of his tickets and discovered he'd won a second prize of €500.

The lucky winner has opted to remain anonymous, but lottery officials say he was delighted by his double dose of good luck in the Daily Millions draw.

"I’ve always been a very decent fellow, a very generous person," the winner said. "I made a lot of money working in London but I had heavy debts about eight years ago and lost about €400,000 in a bad investment. I regularly play all Lottery games and I’m delighted my luck’s come up."
