EuroMillions Rollover on Friday Night

There was a EuroMillions rollover earlier tonight, so the draw failed to produce any new EuroMillionaires, but five lucky players won second tier prizes of €268,532.80 for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. If any of those players had matched a second Lucky Star they would have scooped the €15 million (£12 million) jackpot, but Lady Luck had other ideas so the big-money prize has been saved for another day.

The EuroMillions numbers drawn on Friday, August 22, 2014, were 4, 17, 29, 35, and 49. The two Lucky Stars were 1 and 2.

Twelve players didn’t get any Lucky Stars, but were awarded third tier prizes of €37,296 for matching five main numbers.

Thirty players won €7,459 for matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars, and a further 2,086,231 EuroMillions players were awarded smaller prizes from the lower tiers.

The next EuroMillions drawing is on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. The estimated jackpot is €21 million (£17 million).
