With a Jackpot of NZD$ 26.4 million, Saturday's New Zealand Powerball drawing offered one of the largest prizes in the history of the game. To win the jackpot players need to match the six main numbers and the Powerball. Thirteen drawings came and went without a single player managing to achieve this; then on Saturday two players picked the same winning numbers.
One winning ticket was bought from the Pak 'n' Save supermarket in Hastings, the other from the Kumeu Four Square store in West Auckland. Each lucky ticket-holder will receive NZD$ 13,216,607.
The wining New Zealand Powerball Numbers drawn on Saturday, June 9, 2014, were 2, 4, 7, 27, 32, and 33. The Bonus Ball was 05 and the Powerball was 03.
