There was a
ninth Euromillions rollover last night, so the draw failed to produce any new
Euromillionaires, but eight lucky players won second tier prizes of €188,388
for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. If any of those players had
matched a second lucky star they would have scooped the €88,945,682 jackpot,
but Lady Luck had other ideas so the big-money prize has been saved for another
day.
Five
players lucked out on Lucky Stars, but were awarded third tier prizes of €100,473.90
for matching five main numbers. Forty-three players won €5,841.50 for matching
four main numbers and two lucky stars, and 2,289,351 Euromillions players
received smaller prizes from the lower tiers.
The next
Euromillions drawing is on Friday, June 6, 2014. The estimated jackpot
of €105 million.
