Pushy Thieves Make Off With Lotto Vending Machine

California police are searching for a gang of thieves who made off with a Lotto Scratchers vending machine from supermarket in Fremont.

The incident occurred at 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the Lucky Supermarket on the 4000 block of Mission Boulevard.

The bold robbers walked into the store, unplugged the machine, and pushed it through the doors and out into the street.

The machine was recovered two hours later a couple of blocks from the store. The thieves had managed to break into it and steal the cash from inside. Many of the tickets were also removed. They have since been flagged by the California Lottery, so if the thieves try to cash any winning tickets they will win an instant trip to jail.
