Truck
Driver, Larry Saulnier, handed in his winning ticket on Monday and walked away
from the Atlantic Lottery Corporation with a check for $1 million in his
pocket. Saulnier, from Irishtown, New
Brunswick, bought the ticket for last Friday's Lotto Max (Canada) Maxmillions draw when he stopped
for a lunch break in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Not one to
let his newfound wealth go to his head, Saulnier's initial plans are quite
modest. He intends to use some of it to fund a few renovations to his home, and
after that he says he may treat himself to "a couple of trips".
