Hoosier Lotto Player Claims $2 Million Jackpot

A woman from Frankfort, Indiana, has claimed the $2 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot form the drawing held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.

Speaking to staff at the Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis, Lisa Jennings recalled the moment she realized she'd purchased the winning ticket.

"I ran the gamut of emotions," Jennings admitted. "I went from elation to thinking 'I'm going to be sick,' to fear, to 'what do I do now?' Then disbelief set in."

Jennings, who works in manufacturing operations, opted to take her prize as a one-off, lump-sum payment of approximately $808,000 before taxes.
