A Chicago woman got her birthday celebrations off to a good start earlier this week when one of lottery tickets her father gave her made her a millionaire.
To mark her 19th birthday, Deisi Ocampo's father gave her two Illinois Lottery "$100 Million Money Mania" scratch-off tickets. One of the tickets turned out to be worth $4 million.
"It turned out to be the best birthday present ever," Ocampo said.
She claimed her prize on Friday and told lottery officials she intends to use some of the money to buy a new house for her family and pursue her dream of completing her degree and becoming a nurse.
