$1 million Top-up for Kimberly-Clark "Process Specialist Retirement Fund"

A lottery syndicate constisting of 14 workers from the Kimberly-Clark plant in Beech Island, South Carolina, cleaned up on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, when they scooped a $1 million US Powerball Win.

The "Process Specialist Retirement Fund" syndicate was formed last year and members have been chipping-in a  weekly $5 contribution for 18 months. Each member will now see a $48,500 (after taxes) return on their investment.

Recalling their discovery of the win for South Carolina Education Lottery officials Synicate member David Adams said: "We took the ticket around to all the guys, and we just kept checking the numbers over and over again. We were taking pictures and high-fiving."

The winning ticket was purchased from the 3 Way Food Mart 6 on Pinelog Road in Warrenville. The store received a retailer's bonus of $10,000 for selling a winning ticket.
