It's been quite some time since the Irish Lotto had such a tempting prize on offer. On March 31, 2012, two players shared the € 11.5 million jackpot, but the present pot beats it by € 500,000.
There hasn't been a larger prize on offers since October 23, 2010, when on lucky player scooped the jackpot and banked €16,390,239.
