A US Mega
Millions player from Whitmore Lakes, Michigan, visited the Michigan Lottery
headquarters in Lansing earlier this week and presented a winning ticket just
four days before it was due to expire.

won $250,000 for matching five numbers in the June 7, 2013, Mega Millions
drawing and when she finally claimed her prize on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, she
told lottery staff she discovered the ticket while checking through her purses.
Now she's
got a little more money to fill her purses Christensen plans to set up a
trust fund for her children and grandchildren.
