Australian Lotto Retailer has a Disappointing Day

The Drury Lotto & Superette sold a AUD$ 1 million-winning ticket at the weekend and store owner Store owner, Ketan Patel, was keen to find out the identity of the lucky winner, but his rush to get behind the counter on Monday morning met with disappointment. The Division 1 winner was a no-show.

"Nobody's been in. No one's come forward," Patel said.

The mystery winner was one of five ticket-holders who matched all six winning numbers drawn in Saturday's Australian Lotto drawing.

Patel's store appears to be a lucky venue for lottery ticket purchases.

"We've sold 13 winning first division tickets over 20 years and 62 second division winners. That's not too bad," Patel said.
