Five months after the birth of her bundle of joy a 19-year-old girl from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, has won a whopping bundle of lottery cash.
Kelsie Hodgin was the only player who successfully matched all six numbers in the Canada Lotto 649 drawing on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, so she scooped the entire CAD$ 7 million jackpot.
Kelsie picked up her winner's check on Friday and said her lotto ticket purchase was made on a whim while out shopping with her boyfriend.
She now intends to invest some of her winnings in a new house and says she will save the rest of the money for her daughter.
