Dublin Syndicate Wins €250,000

A lottery syndicate from Dublin has picked up a check for €250,000 after winning the Irish Lottery's Easter Millionaire Raffle Draw.

There are 14 men in the syndicate, they all work as machine operators at the BD Medical plant in in Dun Laoghaire, and each man will receive just under €18,000.

Syndicate member Gareth Kelly has worked at the plant for ten years and was 'over the moon' when he received a call informing him of the win, but when he tried to share the good news with his colleagues they thought he was having a joke.

"None of the lads would believe me," Kelly said. "I rang four lads, and they wouldn't believe me . . . but happy days."
