A couple
from Dunedin, New Zealand, who won $500,000 in the Saturday, January 4, Australian Lotto picked
up their check last week and finally accepted the fact that they had won.
When they
first checked their numbers and discovered the size of their win they feared
they may be going crazy and sent a photograph of the ticket to their children. "It
wasn't until they told us we were right that we really began to believe
it," they stated, but admit that none of it felt real until the money was
safely in the bank.
