Lotto Joy For Pharmacy Workers

Twenty-two workers from Grand Avenue Pharmacy in Cochrane (Canada) gave a Christmas cheer at the weekend when they discovered they were $500,000 winners in Friday's Lotto Max draw. The group purchased the ticket on the spur of the moment, and Kelly Kimmett, who co-owns the pharmacy, couldn't believe his luck when he scanned the ticket and discovered it was a winner. "I was like, na it doesn’t say that," admits Kimmett, but a closer look revealed it did. The workers will each receive about $22,700, and many of them intend to donate part of their winnings to a charity that honors Kimmett's sister, Lindsay, who was killed in a car crash in 2008.
