The winner of last Friday's Canada Lotto Max jackpot has validated their ticket but has yet to claim their CAD$ 50 million prize.
A spokesman for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said the length of time winners take to claim prizes can be as 'random as the numbers'.
"It kind of depends on each individual or group in terms of when they are going to come forward and claim their prize," he said.
The OLG is not revealing if the ticket was purchased by an individual player or a syndicate.
"We have to go through the claims process first," the OLG spokesperson said.
