Thunderball Windfall for OAP

Eighty-year-old Rachel Gibson Fullerton from Middleborough, England, won't need to rely on her pension any longer. The lucky OAP scooped a £500,000 prize in the UK National Lottery's Thunderball drawing on Friday, August 1, 2014.

Recalling the night of the draw Rachel said: "On Friday night I settled down in front of the television to watch the Thunderball draw and watched in disbelief as, one by one, my numbers came up on the screen. I sat there in a state of shock for a while, but thought I had better speak to someone official to check that I wasn’t imagining things."

She wasn't imagining things and is now considering a change of scene.

"At this moment in time, everything still feels like a bit of a dream but I’m seriously thinking about moving to Hitchin to be closer to my cousin," she said.
