$90 Million Prize Remains Unclaimed in Colorado

The Colorado Lottery is still waiting for Saturday's US Powerball Jackpot winner to come forward and claim their mammoth $90 million prize.

The winning ticket, bearing the numbers 3, 12, 31, 34, 51—and the Powerball number 24—was purchased from the Kum and Go convenience store in Rifle.

The Colorado Lottery says it’s the largest prize ever to be won on a Colorado ticket and has an estimated cash payout value of $54.9 million.

Kum and go will receive a $50,000 retailer's bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The US Powerball jackpot has been reset so the estimated jackpot for the Wednesday, August 13, 2014, drawing is $40 million. That's a good deal of money for a starting jackpot, but players looking for a larger pot to shoot for need look no further than Friday's US Mega Millions draw. The game is living up to its name and has an estimated jackpot is $144 million.
