Lucky Friday 13th for Euromillions Winner

The Euromillions Rollovers were halted last night when one lucky player matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars and scooped the €137.3 million (£109.6 million) jackpot.  That’s an awful lot of cash so someone somewhere has started the weekend on a very good footing.

The winning Euromillions numbers drawn on Friday, June13, 2014, were 16, 18, 22, 28, and 46. The Lucky Stars were 9 and 11.

The Euromillions drawing on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, has an estimated jackpot of €15 million (£12 million). That's considerably smaller than Friday's prize, but as a starting jackpot it's pretty good. The jackpots for some games can rollover for 12 months or more without offering such a large prize.

The present Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot has an estimated jackpot of $73.3 million (€54,139,380), but even with three rollovers a week, it has taken over two years for the pot to grow so large. A Euromillions jackpot of that size can typically be achieved in five to six weeks.
