A New Zealand Lotto player from Wanganui was doubly luck on Saturday, June 14, 2014, when both his tickets won Second Division prizes. His total windfall was NZD$ 32,128. He plans to invest in a motorhome.
The man bought his tickets from Aramoho Mags and Lotto and store owner Garry McElwain and his staff were 'over the moon' when the winner, who is a regular customer, returned to the store on Monday and let them know they had sold two second division winners.
"It's amazing," McElwain said. "It doesn't happen very often—in fact, it doesn't happen often enough, so we're thrilled."
