Nova Scotian Winners Letting it 'Sink In'

Nova Scotia residents, Karen and Jim MacKay, visited the Atlantic Lottery Corporation headquarters on Friday, May 9, 2014, picked up a large winner's check, and said they were still letting their change in circumstances 'sink in'.

The couple won the guaranteed CAD$ 1 million prize in the Canada Lotto 649 drawing on May 3.

Entries to the guaranteed prize draw are given away with every CAD$3 Lotto 649 play, and one guaranteed CAD$1 million is up for grabs each draw night.

Lotto 649 drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays and players need to match all six numbers drawn to win the jackpot. The estimated Lotto 649 Jackpot for Wednesday May 14, 2014 is CAD$ 10 million.
