A retired
winery worker who had a big US Powerball win on Wednesday admitted to lottery
staff he felt so giddy with excitement when he realized he'd won he nearly fell
out of his chair.

Meitzenheimer, 63, failed to get the Powerball, but successfully matched five
of the numbers drawn on Wednesday night and expects to get a payout of around
$1.4 million.
Meitzenheimer,
who lives in California, said he already manages very well on his pension, so
doesn’t really need the money, but admitted to being glad he'd won and now
plans to take care of his family.
