Last night
a lucky winner scooped the €8,188,679 (Ireland) Lotto jackpot. The winner has
yet to come forward, but the winning ticket was purchased from the Tesco
Superstore in Whitegates, Wicklow.
The jackpot
for last Wednesday night's Lotto draw was €7,502,518, but nobody managed to
match the six main balls, so the prize was rolled over to provide richer
picking for last night's winner.
The winning
numbers were 04, 25, 35, 38, 42, 43, the bonus ball was 28, and the ticket was a
€4 quick pick. Over 37,000 smaller prizes were also awarded.
The Jackpot for the upcoming Lotto draw on Wednesday is a guaranteed €2 million.
