A group of girls who
pooled their pocket change to purchase a last minute QuickPick entry for
Tuesday's $70 million OzLotto draw have made OzLotto history by winning the
largest ever lotto prize to date on a single ticket.
The identity of the
ten lucky winners has not been revealed, but the winning ticket was purchased at
the Golden News and Casket Kiosk in Runaway Bay (Queensland). Kiosk owner, Pam
Goldsmith, was also over the moon when she heard the news, "I kept saying
to customers this week, 'Wouldn't it be nice if we sold the winning ticket,'
never thinking we would."
